TAKAYO AKIYAMA

A Japanese-born graduate of the Musashino Art College in Tokyo, Akiyama moved to London to finish her MA at Central Saint Martins in 2006. She loves to create detailed fantasy worlds, and contributes
illustrations to numerous publications including Blueprint magazine.
She is also the artistic director of Illustrated People fashion label and has designed graphic prints for a line of clothing by Puma. The
second volume of her comic series 'Siamese Twins’ was recently published by Edition Cambourakis in France.

武蔵野美術大学卒業後に渡英。2006年にセントラルセントマーティンズ美術大学大学院イラストレーション科を卒業後フリーランスイラストレーターとして活躍。イラストレイテッドピープル（ビームスT、トップショップ）、プーマ、プーマbyフセインチャラヤン等のファッショングラフィックをやりつつアウトラインエディションやロイヤルアカデミーオブアートの展示に参加、ブループリント、マイフリーダム等へイラスト寄稿している。フランスの出版社エディションカンボラキスからグラフィックノベル『SiameseTwins』１、２巻を出版。
